Akhil Sharma, MD, FAAP
Dr. Akhil Sharma completed his residency in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at St Luke’s Roosevelt in New York in 1995 and has been practicing pediatrics for over two decades initially in New York, then Connecticut, and finally in California. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the San Bernardino County medical society, and an area representative for the American Academy of Pediatrics Chapter 2.
He is on the faculty of California University of Science and Medicine as Assistant Clinical Professor and is actively involved in training medical students and Nurse Practitioners.
He is passionate about Pediatric preventive care and believes in forming a trusting relationship with families and practicing evidence-based medicine while involving parents in the decision-making process.
